Smoke out of the oil filler neck and idle issues
So here is the deal...I've got and 87 Turbo, emissions removed, corksport turboback, more or less stock otherwise. Its got a fresh rebuild by yours truely, and I havent even really driven the thing, I have had the engine running for maybe a total of 4 hours. Ill rattle off all the symptoms I've got and we will see what we can come up with:
1. Engine refuses to start when warm, starts with a bit of effort when cold, due to the engine not being broken in, but it refuses to catch when it warms up.
2. It has a very odd idle problem: When cold it doesnt like to go below 1300rpm, when warm it can go all the way down to nearly 500rpm and still stay running. The problem is that I have to hold the throttle to get it to stay at 500rpm, if I let off, it seems like the throttle body just closes up and the engine chokes and dies.
3. At low rpm (1000 and below) semi-bluish smoke comes out of the exhaust, anything above 1500 rpm no smoke comes out of the exhaust
4. After running for a little, smoke comes out of the oil filler neck
5. Cooling system does not seem to work properly, it can hold the engine a bit under half way on the gauge for a while but after 5 or so minutes of being warm it slowly creeps over half way, at which point I shut it down. The car is not moving, so I have placed big old square fan in front of the car to help airflow, but it still doesnt quite seem to do it. Does have a brand new Mazda OEM thermostat
6. I have disconnected and capped off the coolant lines for the thermowax, being that I have taken the upper intake off so much recently I don't want to bother with that stupid line that takes forever to put back on.
Up for any suggestions on what to do...or any diagnosis to what can be wrong!

1. low compression still in the engine would be my guess. put a fuel cut switch in it
2. probbaly related to 1, not pu lling alot of vacuum
3. not a clue
4. same as above
5. bubble in the cooling system is my guess

Ignore #3 and #5, they have magically disappeared, just ran the car for about an hour straight in my driveway and didnt overheat, nor was the smoke appearing in the exhaust.
However still have the problem of the idle and smoke in the filler neck.
Some vacuum readings from the last time I ran it:
13 in/hg @ 1500 rpm
5 in/hg @ 750 rpm
2 in/hg @ 500 rpm
What could be causing the car to be able to go all the way down to 500 rpm when 750 is the factory idle?
What is the best way to make the idle stick at like 1000 rpm?
