Smoke on deceleration

Hey guys, got a problem here.

When I start my car in the mornings and whatnot, it will smoke a tiny bit of blue. Not really a problem but its something it hasn't done before. Also I notice when I decelerate and get back on the throttle it will throw out a decent amount of smoke. Im pretty sure its the turbo on its way out as I'm running it at 12psi for a while now. Atleast thats what I hope it is, because I want to upgrade to a BNR anyways... Anywho Do you guys think that the problem? It doesn't smoke any other than that. I also tried the oil seals test where you hold the revs at 4K for a while, well I held it for 20 odd seconds and nothing at all came out. But if I tap on and off the gas (decel and acel) in gear while cruising it will smoke.

Thanks guys

Ryan

could be turbo, but depending on how old the motor is, sounds like oil control rings.

motor only has 15,000miles on a reman. Turbo is well over 100,000miles and boosting to 12psi everyday. Yeah I'm thinking turbo because if it was the oil seals wouldn't it smoke ALL the time, not just on decel?

Sounds very much like the turbo to me. Having gone through 3 stockers and your symptoms being consistant with that of mine, that is what I would guess. Just check your turbo for excessive shaft play. A little bit up and down is acceptable, however if you're getting some in and out play then you might have found your problem.
