Mine had that problem when cruising with my foot off the gas at around 2500 - 3000 RPM. The problem went away as soon as I would ever-so-slightly tap the gas. As it turned out, I adjusted my TPS, and the surging went away.

Are you in driving off from first and staying slow? Or are you in gear at low speed and trying to put the throttle on? Once you are off the gas at a low speed in gear and try to get on it again, the car will buck. This is what the rotary engine does. The cars are terrible at low engine speeds when it comes to smoothness.

Are you saying the screw in the attached jpg won't move????? Difficult to believe.
IF that was so, then you would have a engine fault light and the code would turn out to be the TPS full or narrow range being bad.
The CHECKER lamp mentioned in the jpg attached, is but two LED lights you can buy from Radio shack. You join the two red wires of the LEDs to one spade connector. The put a spade connector on the other two wires. Now you have a TPS checker lamp and you follow the instructions in the attached jpg. The warmed up engine is MANDATORY. As in a HOT engine, not luke warm.
