I was about to say the same as ben. It's going to look like **** around those areas because you were too lazy to take the mouldings and such off, going to crack around all the edges.

rubbing strips not top door moldings is what i was referings to that should have been taken off. sorry i didnt notice the change in bonnets. but bumpers, always are removed for painting in our shop, not so at the indian shop down the road where absolutely nothing is removed and they dont even have a booth. Its just better practice. i just couldnt understand the point in removing the handle pulling off the seal then putting it back in to paint it? just put it on a trestle. im not saying you have done a bad job in fact judging by photos it looks fairly good, just things to keep in mind if you paint it again or any other car for that matter. advise not flaming

as far as takin off bumpers,, on my 69 nova, that is wat we are doig, id show you the pics but this is no chevy nova forum. lol but i took , fenders bumpers, rad support, everything! so i understand the concept of doing it right,
the major question of the project was.. how do we do a 3 DAY paintjob (i needed the car as it was my DD to deep san francisco.) and yes i drove it to and from work, from 5pm till 2 in the morning with no top! love that heater! haha
and also, New Daddy is going to Re-Paint the car when he gets his body kit, fix all the imperfections (aka those ****** dust mites, bugs, etc) so keep in touch!
