Get the complete mazdatrix set. Easy to install, and makes your shifter feel like brand new.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread...

Question about the Shifter.

I replace the bushings in my Shifter and the oil..
In attempt to fix the limp and lots of play shifter, sure it made the shifter tighter and such.
But while i was replacing the shifter i noticed a piece of metal in the shifter and when i got all that chocolate like and smell old oil out i noticed it was wrapped around something inside... Looked like it was supposed to be there but was broken or something... I don't know how to explain it, will post a picture later.

But i put the shifter back in and tightened it all, I have a problem with the shifter not returning to center from 1-2 (left).. 5-R (right) are fine, it'll come back and sit in center or left... it's like the things that creates the springing action is missing or is broken, so it won't return to center from the left...

Anyone know how to solve this problem ?
