simple question about s-afc

Alright I was just wondering if the s-afc had a high and low setting. Like if I wanted to run lower boost I could run the low setting and when I raise the boost to run the higher setting. Thanks.

The AFC is reading the throttle position signal. Your setting are for high and low throttle.

Yep... it has two maps. On for high throttle positions and one for low throttle positions. You can set what throttle percentage the maps take effects, and the transition zone.
In general, the more open you have the throttle, the more boost you have. This is good for all but the finest tuning, which I think is pretty unnecessary.

Another alternative is to run the S-AFC off of the factory boost sensor instead of the TPS. This way, you get boost dependand fueling. It still gives a fair indication of where your throttle is too, do drivability shouldn't suffer. ALso, you will probably wont be more than 10% in either direction for correction, so there shouldn't be any points where drivability would be an issue, and you also gaurantee that you have the proper fuel for the bost you are running.

No, that's not how the S-AFC works. I think Bambam's slightly misunderstood your question. The S-AFC alters the airflow signal, so if you increase the boost, the airflow meter, and hence the S-AFC, simply registers a higher airflow. There's no need to switch to a different "boost map" when you change the boost. You will need to tune the S-AFC on the highest boost you intend to run.

Alright so they s-afc is better than I thought. It can change the fuel for a specific time by itself? Thanks.
