simple exhaust question

Ok so, my DP meets the rest of my exhaust in the same exact spot as the corksport.
I currently have a singe piece duel 2.25 exhaust from the dp back, I just sold it to my buddy for his NA/tII swap... so in exchange I decided to upgrade to a 3" single catback, I found really cheap on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AQ:MOTORS:1123

So now, I have a DP and a catback, with no cat, not that I care about the cat, I just need something to connect the 2 pieces.

Due to it being a cheap POS ebay exhaust and muffler... I know its gonna sound loud and shitty..

So when I talked to Ito last he mentioned a 3" racing beat universal presilencer..

http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...nts/16434.html

Its $105 for the larger style not that the size is much different from the smaller one its just and inch wider... but its like 16inches long w/o the flanges on it..

I just want to make sure it fits between the two pieces I have, cuz I dont have an actual main cat to measure its lenght

thanks guys,
James

I doubt the RB presilencer is a drop in replacement for the stock cat anyway. Welding will be necessary, in which case it hardly matters if the presilencer is a convenient length or not because your catback can just be cut down and flanges/stubs added to the RB piece.

I can tell ya that the Corksport Downpipe and the RB downpipe are different lengths,so Really installing a RB presilencer that is not already manufactured to slip in would be irrelevant.
You are just gonna have to Fab up the part with flanges, and set it in.period.
You are mixing apples and oranges anways..that exhaust listed is for an N/A.
