Question....

I have the Corksport exhaust and the silencer for it. I only have the silencer in there for long drives, and have never pushed the car with it in there. Does it effect performance? Will it cut the boost level down? Is it bad to run the car hard with it in there?

 

IT IS NOT BAD FOR THE CAR AT ALL
I HAVE THE CORK IN MINE TOO (APEX)
THE CAR IS DEFINITELY EFFECTED PERFORMANCE WISE.
IT WASN'T THAT LOUD WITH JUST ME DRIVIN AROUND IN MY SINGLE DAYS BUT NOW I AM MARRIED AND TWO PEOPLE IN THE CAR MAKES IT LOUDER SO I ALWAYS KEEP THE SILENCER IN UNLESS I AM FEELING FRISKY (WITH THE THROTTLE THAT IS=). IF I EVER GET MY *** TO A TRACK THAN I WILL TAKE IT OUT THEN TOO.

do either of you guys have an audio clip of the corksport with and without the silencer?

 

I believe it's been posted a few times....might try a search.

If you can't find anything, let me know...I'll record it at my parents during Thanksgiving.

 

man my RB presilencer sounds soo nice, has the deep rumble like the big single turbos guys have, but a modest noise under boost, I have notice more torque also too

 

With my silecers in (2.5 " DP to Bonez Hi flow cat to ApexI N1 duals) i notice more torque down low but it hurts towards redline.

With them out it screams up high....and so do my ears several hours latter
