For a stock setup, the stock BOV works fine. The stock BOV is open at idle, that's why is needs to be connected to the intake.

If you're looking to get that phoosh noise, you need to put a check valve there (search for how). Keep in mind that "kit" will cost you $150. It's $120 for shipping alone. If you want aftermarket, get a real aftermarket system, not that sketchy ebay stuff.

If you used that $10 bov, it would more than likely just be one giant vacuum leak. My pal got a knock off SSQV and it lasted for two weeks, then converted into a giant leak.

A buddy showed me how to make the stock bov vent into the air. All you need is a check valve system. Mine is made of a cut off plastic coke bottle, hair tie, and a little suction cup thing you use to hold things on glass. I've had it about 6 months and no problems. Cost me a few $. Although I do plan on getting a real BOV.

Buying one of those for 100$ and then buying another one for $300 2 weeks later doesn't make sense. I'd just buy a good one to begin with.

Hi, As everyone else has said, all you need to do is look at the stuff in the photos to see it is just cheap crap!!

I have had a BLitz BOV in the past but then went back to stock, now I have done an intake, removed emissions and that good stuff I wanted a ATMOSPHERIC BOV.

I bought a second hand Baileys Valve, its good because It is duel piston so perfect for use with the Air Flow Meter.

It cost $100 from a friend but new they are over $200, cool as **** tho.

I believe that I said using a stock BOV and check valve is worse then an eBay BOV.

Terrible, terrible hack for no purpose other then to make noise.

A cheap eBay BOV will accomplish the same thing, and if it fails, you're only out $20.
