Question Shifter question.....

Ok so I finally replaced all the bushings on my shifter and I put a new leather boot around so it looks nice and clean and it feels nice too. But theres that plastic kinda square piece that snaps around it holding the leather boot in... I dont knwo the exact name of this piece. I need to replace it. If anyone knows the name of this piece, or where I can et a new one, send some info my way. Thanx in advance.

A junkyard? Why do you need to replace it? A good plastic epoxy will fix it if its cracked (probably stronger than the rest of it lol).

Well, i'm here looking through the parts listing (assuming 86-88) and it seems to show that the leather boot/plastic top thingy/and the bottom thingy all come as one package?

FB01-64-350C seems to be the part number for it all, I could be wrong though.

If you have the money to **** away just go to www.mazdatrix.com and go under interior pieces and find it it is fairly expnesive for what you get I think.
