shifter bushings, return spring & power steering, oh my!
bushings:
i ordered the shifter bushing sets from mazda today.
but im curious if the shifter return spring needs to be replaced as well.
it returns to neutral but doesnt seem very strong.
any ideas?
power steering:
power steering fluid is definitely leaking, because it drinks about a bottle of ps fluid every month and the power steering pump is always wet. i wish i was talking about my girlfriend but im not. the pump costs alot to replace. any suggestions as to where these things usually develop problems? its really hard to tell. or am i just better off replacing the whole pump?
thanks

I believe replacing the shifter spring requires removing the transmission from the car. Probably isn't worth it unless you are taking it out anyways.
