well here is what I saw wrong with this thread

1. he wants to get rid of a VERY important warning signal.

2. it gives him a headache which = him redlining or going past redline for prolonged periods of time ( i don't know about you but it seems retarded to me)

3. He is complaining about the Buzzer when he's racing ppl ( again another factor that makes me think this guy is not very smart)

4. he claims to know how to drive and doesn't need a buzzer so he's either a pro or full of himself and his skills (which have yet to be proven) and there is nothing worse/more dangerous than a pompous self absorbed noob who thinks he's mario andretti.

5. He is under the impression that the old 20+ year old IDIOT lights are in perfect working order and all the solder points are intact ( not very smart considering he wants to, AT THE SAME TIME, remove an important part of the warning system)

6. IF he was smart he would have searched (it would not have made him look like the biggest NOOB of the week) and he would have found the stickies or archives in which he would have found the links to the FACTORY SERVICE MANUALS where, assuming he knows how to read, he would have been able to see how the Buzzer system works and could have figured it out by himself (yes, i know I'm giving him a lot of credit.)

in conclusion: not a smart thread to begin with.

Seriously, please search this topic before making a new thread. You would notice that the OP almost always gets flamed for wanting to remove such an important part instead of trying to fix the problem. So don't act so surprised that nobody really agrees with you.

What's worse about your thread is that you don't seem to be having problems with your car. Usually people remove it because it makes them pretend that nothing is wrong with their car anymore. You don't want the buzzer because it's annoying??? It's supposed to be annoying. Or are you trying to remove it because of the extra weight it adds to the car?

You don't need to be racing people on your way to your high school in the mornings. Maybe you should consider taking the bus? Buzzer problem solved.

don't some busses have buzzers to let the driver know to stop at the next bus-stop?? We're back to square one.

Wow I usualy stay out of of these kinds of completly useless threads. I emplore any mod to either close this thread or ban this person or both. From the 3 pages of posts its obvious he is not learning anything or contributing to this club. Hopefully he will be able contribute to this website but it doesnt look like it now.

To Kang: Be careful and check your attitude because even if you have the abilities of Kimmi Raikkonen your doing it in a dangerous way. Keep this up and you WILL either wreak your car, your self or god help you somone else. Go think about whats really could be around that next corner. You are acting very self rightious right now and there is no place in society for people like you. Please sort your self out.

I think the fact that you aren't in high school makes it worse.

Do you think that removing a safety feature is the mature thing to do? How about removing your seat belt? If you have to race, why don't you take your car to the track?

We are all here for the same reasons you are. I don't like bashing anybody's idea, but yours was plain silly.

Oh no.... you won't be gracing us with your presence? You will truly be missed.

I would have been less dissapointed if you had said you WERE in high school.... The fact that you are 26... Your brain should have evolved since highschool. I know plenty 17-18 year olds that, while naive, have way more common sense than you.

Bad first impression. If it were up to me, I'd strike it from the record and let you have a second chance... but.. its not up to me.

Kang, Cut your losses with this thread. If you want to know how to remove the buzzer, search for it. It has been discussed, mainly in the context of getting it working again but I'm sure you could reverse engineer a plan. Perhaps you could post a mod list and some timeslips, track times etc. if you want us to take anything you say seriously.
Advice, stop wasting your time and ours.

Mark

wow. just when you thought the hole he dug himself into couldn't be any deeper. HE ENDED UP IN CHINA!!!

you should have let this thread die while you had the chance. Now we can't blame your lack of common sense on you being young(which is honestly a reasonable excuse. The young just don't know any better) but you being 26 means you've been acting like a big boi for a while now but common sense eludes you to this day. I think you should stop posting while we consider you stupid because once you go into retard territory you'll never EVER be taken seriously.

if you want to talk about maturity lets evaluate some things:

1. who cursed first? remember cursing means you cannot put together a pair of intelligent insults. With maturity comes the ability to argue and verbally assault someone without cursing.

2. who claims to be bothered by the buzz while racing people? It wasn't me, I can't remember tha last time I redlined. well, it was prolly last week for a good 2 seconds at most.

3. who came in here claiming to KNOW how to drive? I don't know about you but part of being mature is knowing how to be modest. I also know how to drive but I would never keep the car at redline for longer than 3-4 seconds ( i mean, there really is NO power up there!)

4. Who tried to make us feel guilty for giving you **** by saying you will not participate in our meets?? part of being mature also requires the person to get rid of their childhood/child-like egocentrism. I don't know about the rest but I could care less if you came to a meet or not.

Please, if you want to talk about MATURITY (yes, you misspelled it too) try to come at us with at least 5% maturity because if you don't then you're just a butt-hurt immature racer-wanna-be.

Peace out bitches

OOPS I JUST POOPED MY PANTS!

if you have so much money dumped into your car then why does it appear to have a body kit and stock wheels? if they are not stock they are FWD offset.

on a serious note, you can remove it without cutting it and sacrificing the low coolent / oil warning.

method 1:sell your car and get a cavalier
method 2:remove the engine and convert it into a foot powered dragster (you cant redline if you dont have an engine)

Hey guys, my seatbelt really annoys my shoulder, how would I go about removing it?

My advice to you is that you change your screen name and start over. Nobody will know.

Well from what I have learned in this thread, or from the OP atleast. If something in you're car annoys you i.e. a buzzer, a seatbelt, your muffler, etc.

JUST REMOVE IT! Duh...

lol

I must say I have had some really dumb *** questions since I got my RX7, but this is just great lol.

Oh jeeze ya know when I hit the middle pedal, ya know the fat rectangle one, I get this horribly annoying stopping sensation. What should I do?

When i bought my rx7 the buzzer came disabled.

You can tell the previous owner gotta pretty pissed off at the buzzer seeing as theres a crack in the warning light cluster and the top of the trim that goes above the center console vents.

Ha ha ha. This is funny.

With the port work I have done, my car makes power past redline. However with the exaust modifications, I don't find the buzzer annoying, in fact I barely hear it. I prefer it to be there to warn me of other possible problems.

1. You can just ignore it
or
2. You could remove it.
