setups with s4 turbo
Hey, I was wondering what kind of intake/exhaust setups all you s4 turbo guys have? Also, how much boost are you seeing and is your wastegate ported?

3'' mp/dp from thunderfabrications
APC cone filter on the end of my stock TID (using old k2rd AFM adapter)
1st - .6 bar - 8 pounds
2nd- .7 bar - 9.5 pounds
3rd - .8 bar - 11.5 pounds
4th - . 85 bar - 12.5 pounds
5th - no thanks
yes I realize that those converstion from bar to pounds isn't precise, but my boost can change almost .5 pounds up or down depending on weather conditions, etc... so I just put up an avg of what I'm getting.
wastegate is obviously not ported, but EGT says I'm not running lean even into 4th I'm at a steady 800 degrees. Bung is right behind stock o2 sensor. I still don't like playing with fire, so I really don't many freeway pulls into 4th. I'll be pulling off the turbo soon and porting the begesus out of the wg. Hopefully I can have a s5 turbo/mannifold soon though.

wow, these are a lot lower boost levels than I thought. I've got a full 3" RB exhaust, stock air box and I just ported my wastegate but I'm not sure what kind of boost I have yet due to some other problems. I'd like to be able to do the TID mod w/ cone intake but I thought that'd be too much for the s4 wastegate.. anyway, I'll post my results after I test it I guess.
