just wanting to know if the "****" on the outer face of these calipers can be removed for wheel clearance

To my knowledge there is a passage running through there connecting the two pistons. I have heard of someone grinding it down a little bit, but I'm not sure I would gamble with it. You go too far, you ruin the caliper.

Where are your old calipers? Doesn't someone have a shitty one they could grind down and see?

the pic is not of my calipers
and i dont have a spare to grind down
i just thought someone may have done this mod before
im using these calpiers on at racecar and trying to get FWD 40+ offset wheels to fit, i only need about 5mm more clearance and was trying to get away with not using spacers
