Seesaw Idle problem

Well, I got the AFM installed from the junkyard today, and I am still having the idle problem that got me into this mess in the first place (I broke my original AFM trying to track the idle deal down last night). The car runs fine as long as I am giving it gas, but when left to its own, it runs at 1000 rpm, the idle going down and then back up with between a 500 and 750 rpm spread until it eventually kills itself. It also does not seem to be engaging the cold start solenoid, as it does not run higher than 2000 rpms when started cold. I have suspected vacuum leak, but have been unable to find one. Has anyone else had this problem or have any other suggestions?

Thanks,
James

This is due to bad Throttle position sensor adjustment.

Or bad TPS alltogether.

Check the TPS like the FSM says and then check the adjustment. this along with checkign idle adjustment will solve the problem.

I promise.
