Seat switch

Is there any feasible way to switch the driver and passenger seats. I have 91 TII leather seats with the lumbar. I don't want to move lumbar... that's probably impossible, but do you think it's possible to switch everything but the lumbar?

Anything is possible with time, money, and a welder. In this case, I would say just get a racing seat from corbeau or something with the inflatable lumbar support. They are reasonably priced, and they make the rails to fit them in our cars.

If you're wanting to change the seat due to wear of the fabric and or padding, then yes. The pads and covers can be switched from one seat to the other. The main difference is the cutouts for the levers and *****.

Take the seat rails off and then take the back and bottom apart.

Take the upholstry off and then the padding.

Chances are by the time you get it apart you may need to resew some of the wire stay tubes, so be careful.

Take your time and look at everything carefully, study it. The TII seats are fairly simple.

You can switch the covers and pads to the drivers seat. Best bet is to find another passenger seat with good covers and padding. Then leave one of them together for an example.

Do you have a mother or gf that can sew? Makes life easier.
