Searching...Can't find - guage pod under radio
I remember seeing a thread or group buy (can't remember which) about someone making stainless steel plates which housed the radio and guages beneath, or guages above and radio beneath for the opening where the radio is located. I liked the look of it...I think the guy said he was only makin a few. I am interested in purchasing one, but I can't find the thread...

I got one of those plates with the 3 guage slots and a radio slot above them, Fits very nice and looks great. All I need now is my carputer setup with teh retractable 7 inch screen to go in the radio Din slot.

I've got the same one. . doesn't hold a stereo too good. Maybe i'm just missing something but I've tryed it alot of different ways. It's jsut a think sheet of stainless and has a hard time holding the stereo rigid. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this better please let me know. It does look badass though. I get complimented on it often

I bought the 3 gauge pod by Autometer from Pep Boys.(~$20) It holds my Greddy gauges perfectly.
It required some custom mounting, but the design of the pod even matches the black color and the style of the FC interior.

The autometer version serves the purpose but I am the same way in that I would want something cleaner too. I love polished aluminum!
Here is an idea for a cleaner version of those angle rings. Order the proper diameter aluminum tubing and cut it on an angle similar to the angle rings then polish it. Or perhaps I will start machining them from aluminum myself and offer them for sale.
