Scored a TII hood...
Today I got a T2 hood from a forum member(turboii87rx7)... Its soo much lighter than the steel hood. Hood has no dents but it needs paint... not a bad deal for $50. Only down side is that it has hood pins... pink hood pins...
I love the way it looks on my car (even if that is ricey to have a t2 hood on an NA) Has any one ever made a duct to funnel the air from the scoop to the air filter? Sorry no real point to this post... just excited bout the hood. no pics yet since the front end is still apart.

Well here is my hood just sitting on the Rex like I bought it, with primer writing on it... Yes that 7 is backwards ![Confused](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)

This is after taking the primer off with some wet sanding... it was like 400 or 500 grit so I dont know if I went too deep, I'll hit it with some finer paper and buff it... hopefully it will look decent and I wont have to repaint.... there is still some primer on bottom edge that I didnt get yet...

what the hell is that datsun doing there lol
is it getting the hood? craziness
demonicpupil: thats pretty weird. I don't see any reason for that happening.
Actually I just thought of one while writing this. Your previous hood didn't have the rubber pieces on the front underside of the hood that block airflow and help duct it, and your new t2 hood had them......
Am I right? If not, thats weird...

You are right... also the scoop is just pummeling my motor with air... I would assume that helps in some way... I'd like to find a way though as mentioned above to force more air into the intake
