Unhappy Scared the crap out of me!!!

heading home yesterday i noticed that my oil pressure gauge (stock) was at zero....the second i noticed it i pulled over and immediately shut down....flew the hood and saw smoke coming from my turbo......now upon further investigation i checked oil.....(ok)....and i saw no leaks....no drips or anyhting that would look like oil was coming out from the engine.....on the turbo side where the smoke was coming from there seemed to be a lite sweat from the oil return line that goes to turbo.....would this line cause the gauge to drop or is it the sender unit.....as soon as weather clears i will go and check it out......any ideas or sugggestions as to where to start first....thanks

well when the weather finaly cleared i checked it out....it turned out to be that the connector plug for the oil gauge fell off.....(no clue as to how).....so i jus plugged it back in......the smoke from the turbo was the oil return line had a hair line crack in it.....(took a while to find it).....so welded it and put on and im back on the road.....cost me all of $4....the cost of the bronze brazing rods from home depot.....
