Safety Questions: Please Answer!!
Ok, I want to get a 1990 GX (Canadian) non turbo and I have no crash test data! The only thing between me and a beautiful RX-7 is my mom (who has to co-sign the loan) and her worries. If anyone knows the safety ratings and crash test data, plese let me know! Or, if anyone has any reasons why they believe this is a safe car, ill take that too! She seems to think it will be crumpled into an unidentifyable heap in any collision..
Thanks, Matt
Thanks, Matt

Well, I got rear ended by a stupid woman; I stopped for a very late yellow light and she aparently thought she could make it by driving through me at 25mph. $2500 later, the back end is in pretty decent shape.

Listen to your mom - get an FC.
Here's a link with the 1988 results (basically the same thing as a 1990, but without the air bag). Note that it got the same or better ratings than all of the Mercedes-Benz cars tested in the next column.

BTW, you can always install a roll cage.
