SAFC questions
#27
I dont mean to imply that it wont work period. Hell, by all laws of physics, the SAFC shouldnt work on FCs with the messed up TPS signal to it...but it DOES.
On a car with a low level of modification it shouldwork. And from your expieriences, it seems to very well. But if you are planning on running over 1 BAR(approx 14.7) you should consider the alternative. And if you tell me you have run more ona 2 BAR, thats fine. What Im saying is over 1 BAR of pressure the tuning will be much more precise, and the car will run better and make more power.
I still like using a separate sensor that has nothing to do with the ECU. The stock pressure sensor is hooked to the computer and provides whatever function. SDplicing that signal to the SAFC COULD hinder a function the stock MAP does.

When you gonna hook all this up on my car, dave?
For those who dont know 1FASTGSX, he is the tuner that tunes my car. He is quite knowledgable on turbos, and is enjoying learning the rotary (I will convert him soon.. DSMs must die..).

Whenever you want to. With your car running so good the way it is now I wasnt sure if you wanted to convert it to pressure correction and re-tune. Your the electrical man though. Remember, its your game baby!
