safc and avcr

does anybody have both of these installed on there car at the same time? i was just wondering if its worth it and what not, and how it is working out.thanks

they are compleatly different things so you can have both with out problems.... the afc is for controling fuel. and the avc is a boost controller.

I think they would work togeter and look pretty together? I've seen a setup like that in other cars, I would be doing that too if I could afford a avc-r

i was just thinking that it would be alot of wire splicing into the ecu

that is my plan next year march for my t2 to get a SAFC to go with my AVC-R and boost as high as 17 psi on 91 octane once everything has been tuned correctly.

I have both of them on. I wish I could turn the boost up but it just keeps spiking. I think it is worth it just because you can increase the amount of fuel to compensate for the increased boost. I am hitting 10 psi even with the AVC-R on the "OFF" setting but I am dumping 7% more fuel under high throttle just to be safe and avoid detonation. Next step DYNOTUNING!!!
