S5 Turbo Hybrid rebuild carbon vs dynamic ?
I am rebuilding a S5 turbo and going hybrid with a T04E 60 cold side. I have two different backplates for the compressor, one dynamic seal and one carbon seal, I would imagine. I know the stock cold side has a carbon seal, but I have heard the dynamic seal is more reliable and a newer design. Is there any clearance issues in going dynamic with a stock center section?
Thanks for the help in advance...

I rebuilt a S4 BNR stage II turbo and a S4 stock turbo. The Dynamic seal is definately the way to go. It seals in the oil alot better than the stock carbon seal. The BNR uses a stock center section so clearance issues shouldn't be a problem.

Is there any further modification for the 360 degree? The diagrams I have seen look like they have an extra screw or locating pin on them.
Also, what is a good source for reliable rebuild parts. I will likely go through gpop and have them balance the rotating assembly too, unless someone else comes highly recommended, and preferably closer to WI/midwest.
