S5 TII + MSD = like a DIFFERENT CAR....I'M WORRIED!!!!
ok so today I found out that I'm not mechanically inclined but that's not the point.
I installed an MSD SCI ignition along with a used 1987 leading coilpack (mine has an erratic spark), following FC3SPro & a couple other write-ups (Josh_Fucking_Blair )
I test drive my car & it feels VERY DIFFERENT.
I can HEAR the boost hit ~3000rpm but I can't FEEL IT. (heard from both the engine & exhaust)
Full throttle was tested in 1st & 2nd gears.
One would think that my powercurve has smoothed out...but THAT SMOOTH!??!?
JUST FROM AN MSD & BETTER COILPACK!??! (assuming the coilpack is in better shape)
This is how it feels like after MSD & Coilpack:
Like I don't have a turbo but a very powerful N/A with whining noises.
My car also doesn't dip like it used to when I floored it (rear goes down when boost hits thingy)
Before:
Like a turbocharged car where you can feel the boost kick in @ ~3000rpm with the rear dipping
I'm actually quite worried because I don't know if it's the MSD or the coilpack.
Would the Series4 coilpack I'm using now be set to produce S4 power levels????
Here is a picture of my erratic coilpack dyno from a mustang dyno:
(red is RPM, pink is power. Bone Stock S5TII)

Check to make sure it's still sparking.
Pull the spark plug boots off the spark plug ends and put them close to the strut tower bolts/studs (after taking the rubber cover off).  Crank the car - do you hear/see sparks?
