i'm not a big fan either, but maybe if you were to do something like a mazda symbol or a rotor cut out that was more centered. i'm not sure how leagal that would be for those of us who still have to pass inspections.

...personally, I like being able to see whats behind me when backing up... those funny back up light things seem to work well for that...
...not my taste, but atleast it is easy to remove...
Innovation is good, and some of us are a bit stuck in our RX-7 ways.... but I still think its ugly... sorry...

Sorry to everybody for keeping this thread up top even more than it is, but after all the comments and backups I felt like i needed to emphasize that the author was trying to claim against rice when he defined it himself as rice.
We do see that your attempt to be showy and have round lights was done so in a tasteless and vulgar way.
You're trying to sell this as a product, what was the last product you bought because you hated it? Furthermore, your product should be designed for the consumer to be successful.
The point of this was to make the tail lights round, but the result was taking a rounded rectangle into two rectangles that are half squared and half rounded and two hideous ovals (from the pics). You posted this information for us to consider buying this, and therefore evaluate the result - you'd think if you were serious you wouldn't leave the excuse open that your car was dirty and you couldn't keep it at higher resolution when you had paid a plotter to make ovals.
S5 Taillights are swapped on to cars for a reason.

It's not like your back up lights are on all the time. Making it like this does nothing to improve on the design, lighting, looks or overall WHOLENESS of the car.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the stupidest, ricerrific-est, useless, ugliest thing ever seen by human eyes) I would give it a 7. Very close to the stupidest thing I've ever seen but not close enough to consider you a total failure. Go put your time and effort into something else, work on something useful.
EDIT: wtf are you doing reviving old **** like this. Threads like this should be left to die a lonely, sad death.

but i vote for leaving that oval shape on the middle of the tailight and pealing off the rest of the vynl and take some color matched paint and paint over the circle and then peel the circle vynil off and then it would be a round back up light but not some giant *** vynil
