S5 Secondary fuel rail removing FPR
So, I modified my S4 Secondary rail so that it has a barbed fitting on the end, but after all that work, it doesn't fit on my new S5 intake manifold. The hold down bolts are in different areas.
So, I thought I could cut the FPR off the S5 and get a barbed fitting welded on. But, after cutting the FPR off, I noticed that there is hardly any space between the end of the rail and the hole where the injector comes in.
Has anyone welded on a barbed fitting to an S5 fuel rail? Pictures? or suggestions about what to do? I am thinking about cutting the mounts on the S4 and welding the mounts from the S5 onto the S4.
