There's nothing to remember when dealerships can look up recalls on their own automobiles, and as RX7 owners, we should be ready to provide documentation on said recalls, because you are right in that we shouldn't expect the dealers to know. The documents that are available here have recall numbers and dates on them, and dealers should be willing to look up the numbers provided on NHTSA documents instead of just blowing us off because we have old cars.
