s5/s4 swap question

ok, so s4 engine in s5 needs the s5 front cover....
but... why
could i just install the eomp from the s5 to the s4 front cover and have it work?
that way i dont have to take off the front cover?

You can leave the S5 OMP wired and tucked out of the way. The S4 is mecanical.
