Question S5 NA throttle body

Has anyone had any idle issues with the throttle body? My S5 NA has an idle issue up and down 1k to 1.5k. I have checked and replaced all the gaskets on the upper and lower intake replaced vac lines, as this problem was present before the engine rebuild, I made sure that it would be gone after the rebuild sence there would be all new gaskets and hoses etc... But not the case here. Carefully checking for leaks and TPS reveals nothing. But noticed that while driveing the car once in a while the problem goes away. As time went on I noticed that i could apply pressure to the throttle linkage up and down motion and it would correct it until you touch the throttle. Any ideas on what is going on here. Also noted that spraying starting fluid around the area didnt yeald any help as there was no leaks? The throttle body looks good all stock parts are there and all the butterfly clearence notes to the service manual looks to be in order opens and closes without sticking etc.. Wondering if there are just vac leaks around the shaft linkage area.

Doubtful. They seal well. It's more likely a bad TPS, whether it seems to have proper resistance or not.
