Depends on the turbo. 13 PSI on the HT-18 is about 280HP. 13 PSI on a GT40R is over 400 HP.
In my opinion if you are using the stock turbo you will be fine as long as you keep the boost below the point it really starts heating the air (12-13 PSI0.
Everyone I've talked to who has turbocharged the S5 NA has blown it up in short order.

yeah, def. I remember talking to a guy at a meet in Phila. YEARS ago about his fmic setup in his 89 (or 90?) TII with a stock block and turbo. I asked him if it worth it and he said it made a really big difference. Also, it will get your ait's a lot cooler. The tmic is soo small and just likes to get heat soaked by the engine that it sits on top of. My friend with the RE with 9.7 rotors was using the stock (ht-10 and ht-14) twins and was running 14 psi and was making around 330rwhp reliably.

So you're looking to make a little more then 350HP I guess...
As I said, I don't suggest using the S5 rotors if you want it to be reliable.
The S5 rear iron is stronger around the dowel area and less prone to cracking.

You are looking at this the way I did before I found the T2 engine..
I hope you dont get to in deep and either bail on this or get screwed in the long run..
I do think it would be in your best intrest to find and buy a T2 engine and build that..
sometimes (especially on a first build) you get everything planned, you figure it will be a strait cut deal, and u get so involved and so into it that when u run into obstacles and because you are building a frankenstein engine you get parts messed up, or elctrical dont work or something that u end up giving up, asking yourself why u did it and then sell it all..
I would hold back sit tight find a T2 engine and do the swap correctly.. it will just make it a ton easier on yourself... I would hate to see u get frustrated and give up...
it happen to me once before after ebing 10K in debt.. I look back at it 6mo later and realise the answer was in front of me and I would have been fine..
prolly my worse mistake ever since building engines/cars.
