s5 n/a not firing!!!!
Ok i just bought a 90 n/a for 400 dollars...motor has solid compression i think(poor man compression test) but its just not sparking... ive tested the coils resistance, and the CAS they are all in spec... one thing i did notice is that the negitive bat cable isnt hooked up so i got another one, and the original had all the rubber melted off of it...i did verify there isnt voltage at the coil when the key is on or during cranking....also the brown and white wire i think thats the color has like .75 volts with the key on... the room fuse under the dash was blown i replaced it and that didnt do anything. wat else can i check, maybe the ecu is blown??? the history of this car is unknown... also i do think the injectors are coming or either....please help me with this one...

under the hood thier is a fuse box check the fuse closest to the engine. if that fuse is good. crank the car and then take out the plugs and see if they are wet with gas. if yes then ur fuel is good. if not check ur fuel system. next take out ur plugs and turn the key if u can see / hear spark their good. check ur oil level. let me know how it goes

anyone else have a clue as to wat it might be??
little update too, seems the issues are intermediate(sp) i was just fooling around yesterday and i started to turn it over and behold it started firing. i turned it over for like 5 sec and all i smelt was gas so i quit... looked at the engine for a sec to make sure it was ok and i tried it again and i wasnt firing again...
