harness ECU, then youll have to either change out you gauge cluster or swap some wires around. SEARCH this has been covered a billion times. Best thing to do is just swap all your s4 stufff onto a NA block.

no.. u would basically be converting the S5 to mate to ur S4.. so the car thinks ur S5 motor is acutally an S4 motor

not upgrade ur S4 to run the S5 like an S5

If its NA the only thing I would want off a NA is the high compression rotors.

I would think that all you would need is an unmolested harness, an ECM and a decent s5 block... DREYKO on this forum, has the s5 engine and everthing, but uses an s4 ecm, i think he said it runs like an s4 though... im not too well versed in the minor differences between the two though...

But I hope to atempt this swap during rebuild... if you do it, make a write up

your going to need to run a s4 ecu and harness. Plus you need to do somthing about the electronic MOP on the s5, i suggest running a premix of oil in your gas.. But definatly search this topic. It has been discussed in depth MANY times and you can find some amazing info using the search. Also if you get a jdm motor expect to rebuild it, you could run it without a rebuild i guess but i really recommend you rebuild it before you run it if you go that route. I say this because purchased one, and im having to rebuild currently because of the state it was in. I would definatly try to find a motor here in the states that you know is in good running condition, its impossible to know what condition a jdm 13bt is in without tearing it down.

Mine is an S4 with S5 engine and turbo.
It runs with a S4 ECU and injectors.
I'm not the one ho made the swap so I dont know much more.
