Ok I have printed out a vacuum diagram and have gone through all of it and deleted everything on the diagram that I know I will not need/can be removed, but there are a couple of things that I am not sure what they do and if I can removed them

ALSO if you see anything else that I could remove please let me know

The line highlighted in red looks like the injector air bleeds, you need to keep them.

AWS is the Accelerated Warm Up system solenoid
ASV is the Air Supply valve.

I'm pretty sure both of those help the IAC with Duty cycles/Idle on hot and cold starts.

On my Car I still have the ASV, but I took the AWS off. I think having no AWS is what caused me to have a hot start issue the other day when the engine wasn't under any load. I took my AWS off because one of the nipples snapped. I don't think either one are totally necessary, but they help with the Idle.

HAILERS needs to come in here to confirm.
If you get that modified system picture correct, this would be great for the archive. Good job searching!

Well I got the diagrams from alldata, and just started clipping things that I knew would be removed from the engine when i got rid of the ACV, Doing this for a buddies Rx7.

Also how would the AWS (Accelerated Warmup System) cause hot starting issue when its designed to be used to warm up the engine? lol

and if someone does correct me I will fix the diagram for people to use, and if people are interested I will do the S4 series as well

when its ON the ECU dumps a bunch of fuel, because the valve dumps a bunch of air, so without the valve its really rich.

it also sets a code, as do all of the other things.

so its actually simpler to just leave the AWS in there, and plan B would be to put a restrictor in the hose, so it goes to like 2000rpm, instead of 3000+

The Jspec probably won't have it. I think the AWS was only one US and Aus engines.

With the Rtek, I don't throw a code for not having the AWS or duty solenoid.
