on the s4 turbo?
on the s4 turbo where the hot side meets the manifold there is like a flaper or a valve or something conected to a silinoid( sorry cant spell hahah) any ways im puting a s5 turbo on my motor and its not on that one and or there is no where to put it any ideas on what this is and what i should do about it. thanks

sounds to me like the twinscroll, you dont need it, turbo will spool a little slower but S4 turbos have larger outlet anyways so they make more power.
S4 = more power
S5 = quicker spool
pick one...
S4 = more power
S5 = quicker spool

im not too sure, but the bigger the better, so if you rebuild your turbo, you can only get so much out of a certain diameter hole, but im pretty sure its noticeable. if i was you id keep the s4 turbo, sell the s5 turbo and use the money to get it rebuilt into a hybrid, and all you do is weld up the twinscroll fitting, and take it off.

ah ic, well in your case i guess you could use it, but if its brand new and ported and all that good stuff you could get a lot of money for it to go towards your S4 turbo, but your probably better off with the S5 for now.
