S4 TII trans, is this Mazda

Cleaned up a S4 trans I got with zero info. Does this look like Mazda sealant? I removed the pan and syncros looked good, but the input gear look worn. Was wondering if it had been worked on before I got it. Didn't get a pic of the input gear, not sure if my old phone could have been worth using, as my old eyes were straining to tell how bad the gear was. Want to use it as part of a 13bt swap in my 86 Base. does the input gear tend to wear in these trans?

Which Gear oil would be better for a worn input gear? Synthetic for its slipperiness or old school for its thickness/ sticky.

That sealant job looks sloppy so I would bet that the trans was taken apart before..So,NO not a Mazda job.
