s4 t2 throttle body vs s5 t2
Hey guys, I got a s5 and s4 t2 engines and I saw that the throttle body is the same size. But the s5 t2 throttle plates are ina different location than the s4t2 plates. The s4 t2 lower plates are futher in the throttle body while teh s5 t2 plates are closer outwards. What does this do as far as performance?

No, in terms of throttle size, quantity and position all FC TB's are identical. One primary bore with one throttle blade and two secondary bores with two throttle blades each. What you probably saw was a TB with the upstream secondary throttles removed, which is a common mod.

I have both throttles here in my garage. The s5 throttle bodies have the butterfly plates further out,a nd teh s4 throttle has the butterflies further in. The 2 bottom ones only. the single top one is in the same place for both.
My s4 throttle uses a rubber seal, while the s5 looks more like it requires a gasket. They are the same diamter and stuff, im jsut wondering if the throttle plate location would slightly effect performance
