![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Ok, for those that don't know, I am currently doing an S4 T2 conversion. Here's the basics:
86 N/A GXL converted to 87-88 T2 using 88 harness and ECU (N333)
While I can turn a wrench just fine, I am in no way electrically inclined (other than basics). When it comes to reading electrical diagrams and schematics (as in the FSM's), I'm pretty much lost, lol.
Here's my question: What pins, if any, do I have to relocate on the engine harness?
What I think I know so far, or have been informed of, via Search and from talking with people:
The 2 alternator wires need to be run since they're not in the engine harness on T2's (in the location on the new harness, there's a brown/red and a black wire in place of what should be a black/white and white/black wire). My understanding is that the brown/red and black wire on the 88 harness (in the location of the black/white and white/black wire on the N/A harness) is only for the boost gauge, so I should be able to clip those 2 at the boost sensor and run the 2 wires to the alternator, right?
The temp gauge won't work until some pin is moved......don't know which yet.
The 88 harness has no resistor pack injector harness connection, but I've wired in the resistors to match my injectors already.
What else am I missing, and what do I have to do for the above mentioned items? Please don't answer with "plug X15 on harness E-02 must.....blah blah" because like I said, I'm not good with that sort of thing. I'm more of a "yellow 14 pin plug at ECU" type of person. If you do answer that way, pics of the plugs with their names and pin location designations would be helpful.
Thanks for the help!

(this works for me, i can`t read electric diagrams either ![Wink](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
- if possible, trace each wire from one to other end (very helpfull is to have spare harness which u could cut and use for reference![Wink](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
- if its working now (or was so far), u will find out easy where water temp sensor wire goes to, just trace it on old harness and make new wire for it if its not on new harness....
it takes time, but it works, we even rewired distributor type ignition to CAS and ECU type ignition....

This info is covered on my conversion link, with (hopefully) easier to understand instructions.

And Kevin.....aww damnit! I thought I had read through that before, but apparently not. I've scanned over the wiring part and so far seems to have what I need, but I'll look into it some more when I get home. Now I'm starting to feel stupid, lol

Your first question has already been confirmed by me Sanford! I hope you saved the PM? The Coolant Sender Unit wire was a Yellow wire that was found In your NA's Passenger Side Harness. The other end Is found at the Gold Plug at the Passengers Kick Panel. Should you decide to keep It, extend It and route It In the Harness. I'm sure Kevin does a better job In explaining this.
