s4 s5 side moldings

hey i just got my 88 turbo II about 2 months ago and i'm in for a rebuild soon so i've been reading
about this awesome car almost every chance i get.

at first i thought s4 and s5 bodies were almost completely alike aside from the tail lights. but i've also
noticed the side moldings are different. the s4 side moldings look like they stick out from the body and
they aren't colored to match the body. s5 side moldings look flushed and color matched.

anyway, my main question is what would the best way to get the Kouki look on my s4 would be.
i was going to look into s5 bumpers, fenders, doors, etc. but then i was wondering what
if i just painted the moldings to match? would it look weird since they stick out a little bit? honestly
i don't know if the s5 moldings stick out or not because i haven't seen one up close. so maybe
painting it would be better.

i'm new to the rx7 club and any feedback would be great. thanks

yes s4 do stick out abit comperd to s5 moldings.
you could just paint them it would look good IMO.
or you could go all out and get s5 front and rear bumpers and then find some s5 mouldings i think theres 10 all up, i wouldnt worry about the fenders or doors tho.

I did the whole S4 S5 swap thing...just check out my site at bottom of sig...I swapped the doors out and bumpers and stuck the molding on and interior...I've seen the S4 molding painted and IMHO I think it looks bad...I'd rather the S5...thats my 2¢'s
