You can use gsl-se , S4, S5, Fd, or Cosmo rotors in S4, S5 and FD housings. The fitment is all the same. The e-shaft is the the same from 86 on, so that doesn't matter either. Even the 84-85 Gsl-se eshaft can be used, it just doesn't have the oil thermostat in the end.

You just have to make sure that they are a matched set of rotors, with proper counterweights. Also make sure that you use matched totor housings, you do not want to mix S4 and S5.

so the counter weight has to match up with the rotors right? not the housing?

S4 non turbo counterweight and S4 TURBO counterweights are the same. In other words you can do what you said. S4 non turbo rotors in S4 TURBO housings.

Turbo and non turbo rotor housings have a little difference, like the WATER passage on the TURBO housing to the intake manifold and IF memory serves, the ACV passages to the exaust ports/diffuser area are NOT the same. But then again, no body is concerned about that.....evidently.

okay everything else has been cleared up to me. thanks for all the help, but one question after another arises. will all na parts be able to transfer to the t2 housing? i'm planning on using the t2 intake manifold, but what about all the other stuff on the na?
