Were the oil control rings replaced during the rebuild? Does the "crank case" pressure have any place to vent? If the breather on the oil filler neck is plugged and the pressure has no where to go it will push past the oil rings and cause smoking from oil burning.

It started smoking worse and worse in between the last 4500-3000 miles, maybe.
I'm thinking its internal. Maybe the "Oil control rings", but im to new to the rotary game to come up with a conclusion.
