yes it is. in my 87 t2 i am using an na passenger side engine harness make sure both harnesses are for the correct impedance injectors. so if ur car has low use a low harness. otherwise u might have to remove resistor pack or splice some in.
im also running with all emissions removed, then you will need to extend the tps wires like 8 inches and the bac wires like 2 feet. you also wont hav ethe knock control box but that doesnt really do much except retard timign if u use bad gas between like 2.2-3.5K or somethin

ohh yeah i should add if u have any of the emissions solinoides alot of those are wrong, and i havnt reaserarched how to rewire those cause i dont run any of that crap...( not even the twin scroll solinoid)
also the 2 big things, the tempurture gauge wont work, and neither will the boost gauge! you will ahve to jumper a wire over from the boost sensor to a diff wire that leads to the boost gauge, found near the ecu, then you do the same with the temp gauge,
its pretty easy if you compair both wiring diagrams, but ive forgotten which ones i did, but i did it about a year ago

lol yes you can use the na engine harness.
that link is not really the same as your setup.
you do want to use all t2 electronics tho, ie boost sensor, afm, injectors, ecu.
reason is the body harness on an na and turbo are slightly diff also.
for your setup a t2 body, with an na engine harness.
you need to,
1. lengthen tps wires,
2. lengthan bac wires . ( if your using one)
3.remove all emission solinoides, ( sounds like u allready did)
4. run w/o a knock sensor, ( doenst do **** anyway)
5. cut and move the tempurature gauge wire like 6 inchs near the ecu
6. jumper the boost sensor wire from the engine harness over to the t2 body harness ( JUMPER, DO NOT CUT!!!, so basicly the boost sensor signal wire will beomce a Y one still going to the ecu, and then the other spliced to the boost gauge wire, all done near the ecu area)
i basicly had the same setup s you, but i have a 87 t2 and the engine harness was buchered beyond repair, so i used a good condition na harness instead.

i found out that my injectors are high impedance, now i have to do the wiring that/u KOMPRESSORLOGIC mentioned above, i know hailer has a writeup on how-to splice it but cant seem to find it. Do any one have pictures or a link to the writeup? btw major thanks to everyone for helping me out.
