S4 na 4 lug question

Have any of you that have the 4 lug suspension upgraded to the 4 pot calipers and kept the 4 lug rotor assembly?

If so do you like it? Was it a big difference?
Thanks

you have to upgrade to the 5 lug assembly I believe to get the 4pot calipers to bolt in. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the 4 lug was the "cheaper" package and so you have to update to 5 lug for the change in calipers. someone correct me if wrong please.

The 4 lug rotors are smaller than the 5 lug rotors. You *might* be able to fab something up to make it work, but it's not worth it IMHO. The pads might not even fit on the rotor properly, the rotor might not be thick enough and you could have problems when the pads get thin (pistons too far out), they might not even fit under the wheels, or any number of other possibilities. Brakes are VERY important to your safety, and you don't want to be mucking about with half measures when it comes to your safety now do you? You might as well do it properly and get the full 5 lug, 4 pot conversion.

Well, to go 5 lug is not an option at all! Old school rims are hard to find in 5 lug and I already have mesh, panasports, and the stock gsl-se rims. All I want is to be able to add the 4 pot calipers due to the car will have more HP (about 100-150 more hp) and will need to stop.

With this kit;

1978-1985 Big Brake Kit $174.99
The FB Big brake kit was designed to put second generation rotors, hubs and calipers onto a 84-85 big bearing FB front spindle. Kit comes complete with all mounting hardware and instruction manual. Customer supplies the second generation parts to complete the swap.

You can swap in any 2nd gen front hubs on. I have spoke to Billy and he said I can use the s4 hubs and rotors with the 4 pot caliper. He did how ever say that you will loose a little bit of pad connection and reccommended using the 5 lug hubs and have them redrilled to 4 lug.

Well, I just wanted to know if anyone has done anything else and if they like it.
Thanks
