s4 LIM to FD uim
I need an adapter for an s4 LIM to an FD UIM, I've seen an adapter for s5 to FD but not s4..
If nobody makes one, I'm going to have one machined by my buddy with a Machine as big as my friggin garage!!! Its just going to cost more cause its a one off part... I have the design ready to go, just not ready to shell out the cash if somebody else already makes one.
Before ya'll start bitching about just getting an S5 LIM... I've already ported and polished my s4 LIM runners and irons.... not willing to let that time investment shoot right out the window!!!!
I'm also running a Haltech and FMIC.. so thats not a concern. In fact, the adapter will have to be pretty thick to make it work, so its goot that the TMIC was there before for the added hood clearance now that its gone
The biggest reason i want to run the FD UIM is so that i can run my fuel system pluming (and Marren pulsation damper) more effectively. The plenum on the second gen does not give any room for plumbing near the fuel rails like i want to run.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
IMO: You would be better off just spacing the stock manifold higher (now that you have more clearance with the FMIC).
The FD runner design is so far different that you would loose a major amount of intake velocity because of the side step in the runners.
There have been a couple of people posted ones for FD and Cosmo upper intakes mated to FC LIM, but every single one of them have the funky dog leg angle that will cause your performance to suffer.

Icecmark.... thats what I was looking for.... The design requires that the runners in the spacer both narrow and angle towards the center from top to bottom.... I was worried about a venturi effect at this point... which is good if its a carberator throat... but evedently, not in the middle of the intake path
