S4 blowing EGI IGN fuse

S4 blowing EGI IGN fuse
Went out for lunch and the NA S4 FC blew the 40A EGI IGN fuse. Put a new one in and it blew as soon as i turned the key to on. I unplugged the leading and both training coils and tried it again with no luck.
I did some quick searches for this fuse but didn't find much. I'm currently looking through the FSM manual at the wiring diagrams to see what all is on this fuse and try to track down the short, but thought someone might having some suggestions on what to look at.
Anyone had the EGI IGN blowing repeatedly on them? Any suggestions on where to look first? I just rolled it into a parking lot since it blew going down the road, so I'm not its not in front of me at the moment.

Fuse also supplies voltage to the injectors and the fuse is named EGI INJ. You could disconnect the front harness from the emissions harness at connector FEM-02 which is located at the passenger kick panel.
You could also disconnect the 4 wire plug from the main relay and jumper a wire from the positive terminal to the Black/Yellow wire in the plug and this will supply power to the coils and injectors. Do this with coils plugged in and this will check to see if the main relay is possibly the culprit. I would do this first.

Thanks for the quick reply. Good catch on my spelling error, no wonder i wasn't getting any hits from the search.
I will start troubleshooting after i get off work. With only the injectors and coils on this fuse, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

that fuse is also linked up to Emissions related stuff too.
Check the wiring, along the engine to make sure that there is nothing touching and shorting out...especially behind the Alternator,as the wiring is pretty well tucked along there and the wiring gets hot from the alternator, and can rub up against the metal of the engine and Zap,Short out and Blow the EGI fuse.

A friend and I towed it home Monday night. It only took about 20 minutes or so to find the short. It was on the passenger side near the strut tower. The harness just rubbed through one of the brackets that hold it in place. Easy fix. I was dreading having to take the upper off since it hasn't been touched in 23 years.
