rx7 willl not go past 3,500 rpms
yesterday i was driving about to pull into the gas station because i was literally on e and just made it in time before it shut off. Well one of my spark plug wires came off, but i drove for like 3 or 4 min down the road into a parking lot because i heard a crackling noise. I plugged it back up, but now it will not go pas 3,500 rpms. It goes through all the gears its just that once it hits 3,500 rpms it just wants to bog out and some what die. Could some sombody tell me how to or tell me the solution on how to make it go back to normal.
because im stuck

The spark plug wire 'came off'? lol how the hell did that happen? Did you recently get your plugs changed, or change them yourself?
I would think you have some sort of gnarly problems if your plug wires are falling off. What they are? I have no idea, but all I know is that I hope that never happens to me...
I guess just make sure that the boot of the plug wire wasn't the only thing that was connected. The plug should make a nice *click* noise when its properly connected.

that wire that came off..Which coil did it come off??..the trailing Coil,I presume..I am thinking that coil may be fried, because of No resistance...Bear with me,Explanation...if the Coil was sparking to ground, and not going through the Plugs(which have resistance, for a long period of time, then it may have Burnt out,,So, I am gonna say that the Trailing coil is most likely Shot.but i've known to be wrong..just guessin.

If the plug came off and you heard cracking, then that was probably the coils firing against ground, or more likely arcing between the two coils (trust me, I have seen it happen.) There is a possibility that the coils are fried, but then the tach probably wouldn't work.
It sounds like your secondaries aren't coming on for whatever reason. Most likely cause is bad ground. I'm sure there are other reasons, and I'm pretty sure you can find them if you search.
