RX7 Vert Turbo 2 Conversion 88

Hey Guys, I am just wandering if swapping a 86-88 turbo II engine into an 88 vert would be a bolt on. I've heard that the convertible model's ecu is already able to take on a TII motor. Is that true? I did search and didn't find anything to see if this was true so I'm just asking. also, are there many people who do this swap and is it worth it? Thanks! James

Yes...the Vert ECU has a map for boost, but just go ahead and get the TII ecu.

If you do a search, what is require for a turbo swap you will find.

it is basically a bolt on if you have the right tools otherwise pay someone to do it.

also just get the turbo stuff to start off with. it makes stuff easy in the long run.
