You do realize you'll be giving up one of the best parts about a vert by swapping out the Vert seats fro anything else.

Why not just buy some leather replacement skins from the seats off Ebay, since it looks like the foam inserts are intact? Not really all that hard to install yourself. I've done it a number of times.

Doing a quick search, this is only picture I could find of that might give you a bit of an idea of an after. When I have some time I'll find better ones to show you it's worth it.

hmm, didnt think of that. The foam is deteriorating, not sure if the speakers in the headrests work. wasnt planning on getting rid of them, but storing them until i could afford to get them reupholstered.

Also, the skins that i see on ebay are 900 bucks. thats way out of budget.

Aside from maybe the drivers side outside seat bottom bolster, it looks like none of the foam inserts are broken. Most upholstery shops would glue a little burlap to the inside of that bolster and a thin layer of foam rubber on the outside.

That little wear on the outside bolster on the seat back will never be noticed once recovered.

leatherseats.com I did notice the cost has gone up a couple hundred dollars since i bought mine.

I think Racing Beat sells replacement cover kits as well. At least they used to.

I still have my convertible seats, and was debating on having them re-covered at an upholstery shop, but seeing the RB seat skins, that's pretty much a no brainer!

I bought these seats from a forum member. He had them re-covered in a nice black vinyl, and also had a cutout added for a racing harness, as well as extra padding for higher bolstering in the sides. I also got a really great deal on them. My headrest speakers didn't work any more, so losing them wasn't really an issue for me.

I'm getting a set of those RB seat skins! I'm really glad you brought that up. I had no idea racing beat sold upholstery kits.

Keep in mind the RB seat covers are vinyl, not leather. But they are a good fit and I understand they come with everything you need to install them.

I have the leatherseats.com set with perforations. I think that that is about 700.

BUT how bout mrmazda on ebay? he has a pretty nice set for 299 shipped right now! Get some leather dye and redye them. They will look dynamite.

He goes by crjrx7 on the forum.
