rx7 buzzing light problem

help appreciated.....
I don't know that i would trust the soldering on it, even if it would work on the hex head.
Try http://www.mazdatrix.com/b8.htm
its only $35 usd and I'm sure they would be willing to ship to norway.
OR find a dealership somewhere in your area. I don't know what sort of precence mazda has in norway so you might need to try Britton. Your english seems good enough that you shouldn't have too much trouble.
OR find a used one in the for sale section of the forum, as long as you pay shipping most people wont mind to ship out of the country. (I think)

I bought a new sensor like the Mazdatrix one. When I was about to install it I realized that this "plastic type" sensor is different to mine (ref picture). My sensor is made of some metal and has a small pipe to fix the hose to the overflow tank.
According to what I have read on this forum, the water level sensor is normally grounded through the cooling water. Therefor an easy solution could be to solder (or fix) the broken cable to the metal of hex head of the sensor.
A better solution would be to buy a new metal type water level sensor, but I have not found this type of sensor in any part catalog yet.
Comments, anyone ?
Thanks
