RX7 '87 Needs lots of parts :P
Have my first RX7 and I want it to kick me off into loving them even more...
I have an RX7 I've got in the garage, that needs a new motor...
I'm thinking of getting either:
A) Turbo II motor
B) Street Port motor
I have a fairly new transmission(stock) that was rebuilt, and I'm pretty sure it can handle a Street Port motor, but if I get a Turbo II or a turboed 13b motor, am I going to need a new transmission?
Also, want a new clutch and shift kit
Dunno what to get for the clutch, but I'm really wanting this "Miata Short Shift kit" It's pretty nice.
Shift kit: http://www.duettomotors.com/miata/shortshift.htm
To the point: SUMMED UP:
Any recommendations for a clutch?
--Do you recommend the Street Port motor, or a turboed motor?
Would I need a new transmission for a turbo II Motor/13b Turboed
-If so, any recommendations?
+Also, if anyone knows where I can get any parts like this(prefferably a new clutch at least) hit me up.
Thanks.

yes you will need a new tranny for a turbo motor. The stock N/A tranny will take it, but it was not designed to and will have a significantly shorter life behind a boosted motor.

So do you think I should just stick with getting a Street Port motor?
Do you have any rec's on Clutch? Thanks.
Btw. Do you know someone named Ronny up there? Drove(may drive still?) an AWD Talon(Might live down here, still)
He was in AR...
