Is this rx-7 worth it.

i have owned all of the major sport car food groups from japan besides the rx-7. i am currently in my nissan faze. 2 240's and a rhd 280Z. anyways there is a red 86 non turbo 5-speed. rust starting to develop on the bottom edge of the door and a little under the door. the radiator and oil coolent lines and disconnected b/c he said he was fixing the coolent lines b/c they leak. probebly need a tire b/c its on the ground. the body is decent but is dinged up on both doors. non turbo but he said the vin number says its a turbo. 13b motor. 500 dollars. wat say thee.
you guys have some funny *** smiley guys. makes me want an rx-7 even more.

you could probably find a better maintained rx7 for a little more.

I bought a non running rx7 N/A for 150$. I've spent 3,000 on it and it's not done yet. I still have another $1,000 to go before I get the kind of HP numbers and reliability I want. Which isn't that much when you think about it.

240sx would have probably been easier. But I'm into RX7s because of the look, the rotary engine, and the fact that I bought it for $150 :P

If you like Nissan's and know a good deal about them.. I'd still tell you either way to get a rotary and check it out!

Personally I never realized how much fun they were till I drove mine

If it's running, maybe. If not, I wouldn't touch it. ^^^As for the 240's, I think he ment the Z cars, not the SX series. The first generation Z's are the sex. (pics demanded)Btw, the 240SX has more power than an NA RX-7. They aren't really all that fast.

As far as money it's all relative, I mean I bought my 2nd FC for 7,000 and it's loaded:
Big Single, EMS, Fuel Mods, Wheels, Clean interior, pretty decent paint, just need to get her Dyno'd with the new boost at 15psi.
Considering she made 335rwhp on 10psi with an ignition problem I am psyched.
It's always better to buy a completed project if money is an issue.
My other FC I have spent niegh 10,000 on and it's not running..keep blowing f*cking motors with the damn finicky Mazda ECU.
